Hi, I’m Vanessa
OWNER & PRIMARY CAREGIVER
Pet Care by Nessa grew from my love of animals and years of hands-on experience working with dogs in pet care, grooming, and veterinary settings.
I created this space for pet parents who want something more personal than a traditional kennel. I intentionally keep our groups small so I can get to know each dog’s personality, routine, preferences, and individual needs.
I’m Pet First Aid & CPR Certified, and I believe good care is about more than supervision—it’s about paying attention to the little things that help each pup feel comfortable and understood.
Meet Geoffrey
CAREGIVER & TEAM MEMBER
Geoffrey grew up around dogs, including Golden Retrievers and Chocolate Labradors, so caring for them has always been a familiar part of his life.
He studied visual arts and animation at UMBC and brings that same patience, creativity, and attention to detail into the care he provides. Geoffrey is also Pet First Aid & CPR Certified.
Geoffrey works from home, allowing him to be present throughout much of the day. We share responsibilities like feeding, supervised play, outdoor time, and daily routines, giving each pup plenty of attention and an extra set of eyes while they’re with us.

With both Geoffrey and me involved in your pup’s care, they get familiar faces, consistent routines, closer supervision, and plenty of individual attention. Our goal is simple: to create a place where dogs can settle in, feel comfortable, and be cared for like one of our own.
